Have you tried Jesus? Hes alrightttt! Have you tried my Jesus? He's alright! If you growed up Church of God in Christ like I did you heard this song many times. The point however is that he is STILL GOOD! Its a southern thing to say that "Jesus is alright!"  ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT! *Claps Hands*. This has been a rough year but I am proof that he is the God of turn around. He is a God of purpose and clarity. In the midst of everything don't turn back, but cling to the promises of God. I am a full time student, I work two jobs, and I am a student leader on campus. So my days usually end at 6pm or at the library as I force myself to study! Haha. Life gets hard trying to juggle everything, manage time and school, family, eat right, and manage to get  eight hours of sleep. On top of all that, life is generally stressful. I hear all the time how this walk is never easy. And I have learned myself that in fact it’s NOT! It is going to cost you everything. How bad do you want God and want him to move in your life? You literally must trade in your OLD life for a NEW life. The bible tells us that once we made accepted salvation and made the decision to follow Christ, we are new creatures. 2 Corinthian 5:17 states " Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!" (Berean Study Bible). This verse tells us that we are a new creature once we accept Christ. O

  In July of this year, I attended the 2019 Pinky Promise Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It was hosted by the Founder Heather Lindsey, founder of the pinky promises and preacher. It was three-day event and I could testify about the Goodness of the Lord. We literally brought heaven down all three nights. I have never seen thousands of women gather for one purpose -- sharing the love of Jesus Christ. I met all my sisters from all over the world. From Barbados to California to New Jersey. Each day consisted of a speaker that touched on singleness, marriage, financial literacy and building your brand as an entrepreneur. my favorite session I attended was the single session with pastor Tina Joy Davis. The name of her session was called "S is for Sexy". My key takeaway is that "You dont lack anything as a single."
